How do I book?

 

Send us an email, or look out for the "Register an Interest" buttons throughout the site. We'll then have a chat, check suitability (remember you need to be an experienced novice for the ridden adventures), sort out the date etc and get your adventure/experience booked.

Do I pay a deposit?

​

You will need to pay 50% non refundable deposit when you book (you'll be sent a payment request along with all the booking forms) You will then be required to pay the full amount 14 days before you are due to come. If you book within 14 days of your adventure/experience you will need to pay the full amount.

Are you open everyday?

 

We try to keep the weekends clear so that the ponies have a certain time to spend with their family and to chill out with the herd, therefore we prefer to book most things through the week. However, if you can only do weekends, please let us know and we'll see what we can do.

Are you insured and licensed?

Yes, we are fully insured and are licensed by Peterborough City Council.

Do you offer riding lessons?

​

No, we are not a riding school. All riders who come to enjoy an adventure trek need to be experienced novice at the least. You will need to be confident in all gaits and be able to control the horse. You will be asked to complete a self assessment form for rider ability and there will be a quick riding assessment session before you leave to ensure you are able to control the pony and to ensure we've matched you correctly.

Could my adventure/experience be cancelled due to bad weather?

We ride in all weathers, including rain and snow, however we will not ride in severe weather, or where weather warnings are in place - this could include heat. If this happens a new date will be offered. A photoshoot of course would not be fun in the rain, so this can be rearranged.

I can't ride, but I still like to spend time with the ponies. Is this OK?

​

Yes, absolutely! You don't have to ride to enjoy spending time with the ponies. You can enjoy grooming and groundwork sessions and in-hand trails. You can also access our therapist Tracey Dean

Do you work with Community Groups/Charities?

Is there an age restriction?

​

You need to be over 18 for the ridden adventure treks. There is no age restriction for other activities, however, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult
